In the Starting Conference in November 2006 we discussed about changing’s in this WP, and we realised the new version in February 2007. And after a one day Special Meeting in Budapest with Hungarian and Czech trainers we “fixed” the WP5 activities. And now we are good on scheme, with (very) good developments.
1. Introductory Courses (IC’s)
We planned to give 10 IC’s (partly with video-conferencing) together for minimal 150 participants
We realised in 2007 4 IC’s: 2x organised by UVT and 2x by SCOP. In one IC we tried out the video-conferencing: it was an effective Scottish contribution.
Totally there were ca. 80 participants: Students of the UVT or Care workers in the regions Timisoara and Bucuresti.
In 2008 also we plan still 6 IC’s, 4x organised by UVT and 2x by BZRO
2. Training to VIT-worker
We planned that in the whole project at least 10 Care workers in Timisoara must be in training, partly supervised with video-conferencing.
We realised in 2007 that 9 care workers (Autistic Centre Casa Faenza in Timisoara, Child Protection in Timisoara and Arad) are in training for VIT-worker.
Till now there was no video-conferencing.
So in 2008 we plan to start the training with at least one care worker. Minimal 5 care-workers must be certificated, the other 5 must be half-way certificated.
And we plan: to start video-conferencing!
3. Training to Supervisor VIT
We planned that at the end of the whole project minimal 4 workers must certificated, after supervisions partly with video-conferencing.
We realised in 2007 that already 8 workers are in training. There were regular supervised, but till now not with video conferencing.
In 2008 we plan to continu this training, and: to start video-conferencing in supervisions.
4. Master Class VIT
We planned a Master Class for the asp. Supervisors ( to train them in Presentation, Demonstration and Who to Lead IC’s) after September 2007.
We realised till now “only” the preparations for this Master Class.
For 2008 also we plan the Master Class, probably lead by Scottish and Czech Supervisors.
5. Implementation in practise of care working
We planned that the care workers VIT from BZ (in Barlad and Vaslui) will try out the video-conferencing in their praxis and in their supervisions.
Till now this is not realised
So is it planned to realise in 2008!
6. Scientific research of the different activities (=modules)
We planned that during the project the UVT (partly together with University Dundee) collects and assesses the results of the activities. At the end of the Leonardo project we must have a report of these results, and after positive results: UVT will (start to) integrate VIT IC’s, if possible and wishable with video-conferencing, into the curriculum for the students.

So in 2008 we plan to make the definitive curriculum, and to start collecting and assessing results.
7. SPINRomania
We did not plan officially to start with building up SPINRomania, as national trainings centre. But during the project we realised we wish to enlarge our tasks with making steps for building up SPINRomania.
So beginning 2008 there will be the first brainstorming meeting with involved persons and organisations from different fields.
We plan to make further more steps in 2008.
8. Universities
We didn’t plan to start Inter University Contacts, but UVT Timisoara discovered interest by colleagues in Cluj, Iasi, Bucaresti.
We plan for 2008 to make concrete steps with these and other universities.
9. Final Conference
We planned this conference in September or October 2008.
So we plan to start organisation steps in Spring 2008
